What happens to your details
This notice covers unforged.me and its audit form. It says what we collect, why, and for how long.
Who is responsible

What we collect
- What you type into the form: your name, your email, your Instagram, any other channels you add, your answer to the open question, and that you ticked the consent box.
- The time you sent the form.
- Technical data that our host Netlify records when the form is sent or a page is loaded, such as your IP address and browser. Netlify uses it to deliver the site and to filter spam.
To make your audit we also look at the public content of the profiles you name. We do not log in to your accounts and we never ask for a password.
Why we collect it
To make your audit, send it to the email you gave us, and answer you if you reply. We do not put you on a newsletter, we do not sell your details, and we do not use them for advertising.
Legal basis
Your consent, given with the tick box (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), and the step you asked us to take, which is making the audit (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Server logs at our host rest on our legitimate interest in running a safe site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by email. That does not affect what happened before you withdrew.
Who receives it
- Netlify, Inc. (USA) hosts this site and receives the form. Transfers to the USA rest on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in Netlify's data processing agreement.
- The submission is also sent by email to the two people on the Unforged team who make the audits.
Nobody else gets your details.
How long we keep it
We delete your submission from Netlify and from our inboxes no later than 12 months after we send your audit. If you become a client, we keep what the work needs under the terms of that agreement. You can ask us to delete everything sooner.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking. Fonts are served from this site, so loading a page sends no request to a third party. That is why there is no cookie banner.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and get a copy to take elsewhere. Write to mail@andreashartenfels.de. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Cyprus that is the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection, or the authority where you live.
